About the job Senior Security Officer
Description
Perform the same specific security functions as Security Officer II in addition to assisting in organizing and controlling the daily activities of security personnel when the Supervisor is not available. Conducts follow-up investigations on violations of the hospital policies, rules and regulations. Assists in training activities of security personnel. Ensures that critical response procedures are executed as prescribed (i.e., fire drills, critical response exercise, etc.). Audits reports, shift schedules, audits activity logs, battery inventory, post checks, collect post orders at the end of shift.

Required qualifications:
- California Security Guard Registration upon hire
- 2 years' Security or dispatch experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Penal code 832 training.
- First Aid and CPR training.
- Hospital Security Officer experience.
- Supervisory experience.
