About the job Client Success Director
Were looking for a Client Success Director for the OPIS Retail and Wholesale Divisions based in Rockville, MD, with remote work flexibility. In this role, you will deliver value to our customers, our organization, and our team by:
- Working with clients who utilize OPIS data and software to help them get the most out of the tools and information by providing insights, suggestions and help in utilizing strategies that will help the customer get a better return on their investment.
- Make suggestions about other OPIS products that may assist with providing scorecards or that provide further efficiency, and being a liaison between the customer and the sales team.
- Help retailers and wholesalers see the value in sharing pricing, volume, inside sales and other pertinent data with OPIS.
- Assisting with product development ideas, product roadmap prioritizations and helping the sales team with potential new customers when needed.
- Articulately explaining to customers within all levels of industry and technical knowledge how the OPIS methodology of collecting and handling data works.
- Identifying key problems and business challenges facing our customers, and working to solve them by interfacing with product management and development teams to determine ways to enhance existing or build new products and reports.
- Periodically attending industry conferences and trade shows, as well as client on-site visits, in order to help customers achieve maximum returns of our products, network, develop relationships, and keep on top of current trends. You may need to travel up to 25%.
- Continuing the OPIS legacy of providing the highest-quality customer support in the industry.

Your expertise
You have
- A bachelors degree. Business, Marketing, or Communications degrees are a strong fit for this role.
- Prior experience of 12+ years in the industry buying and selling fuel for retail chains or wholesale distributors.
- Fluency in English, with other languages desirable based on our global customer base.
- Data literacy, easily understanding how to interpret and analyze data to help our customers make the best-possible business decisions.
- Experience providing top-notch client support, helping to maintain OPISs reputation for industry-leading customer service.
- Flexibility in your schedule, with the occasional early-morning or late-evening meeting with clients and/or colleagues across the globe.
- Excellent technical acuity, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure DevOps, and Netsuite (or another CRM software). Proficiency with Google Workspace a plus.

- Confident speaking with clients of all job levels and titles, from the day-to-day users of our services all the way up to C-level contacts at some of the largest retail companies in the world.
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail who is comfortable with the changing priorities that come with a high-growth division.
- Not afraid to strike up a conversation with someone in a professional environment and are happy developing and nurturing relationships with important industry contacts.
- Organized with solid problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Able to uncover and decipher complex problems and think outside the box to create solutions.
- Driven by the desire to help others succeed, delivering the highest levels of customer service and professionalism.
