Job Summary:

Assisting with various user issues, deploying new laptops to users, monitoring systems and backups as well as troubleshooting issues with our server environment.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A passion for technology and some hands-on experience with computers is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills are required.
  • The ability to work well with both business and technical users is required.
  • Experience working at a help desk or computer lab would be ideal.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.


Education and Experience:

High School diploma

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
