Description
- Reporting into the sales organization, the Infusion Sales Strategy Manager works closely with sales leadership to drive results in strategic and competitive accounts.
- The sales organization depends on the Sales Strategy Analyst to provide strategic market intelligence, resulting in increased competitive strength for the 300+ Client MMS US Region field sales employees.
Essential Functions
- Work directly with Sales leaders across the Client functions to create detailed customer level account data profiles leveraging disparate data sources pulled into a common framework to evaluate large customer account and opportunity development
- Accurate and timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting and analysis of key deals closed and in the pipeline.
- Review customer quotes to ensure pricing provided matches customer contract
- Project manage opportunity data with internal teams to ensure timely deliver of quotes as well as coordination between internal and field teams
- Support key business processes to create actionable data to increase sales and profit.
- Use available tools to assist in fact-based category and business analysis.
- Track and analyze sales and product performance focusing on new products and growth markets
- Assist in routine sales analysis and supported process improvement efforts for sales effectiveness
- Be a power user and subject matter expert using Excel, Qlikview and SF.com
Other Responsibilities As Requested
- Manage, prioritize, and execute various ad-hoc project requests in support of Sales Leaders, Customer Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Manage and attend regular reporting sessions with senior sales leaders.
- Manage and build sales and customer reporting.
- Work cross functionally with other managers in sales analytics to create total category, company and cross channel opportunities.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field
- 5+ years of analytical experience preferred and/or advanced degree
- Desire to be part of a small, close-knit team of elite business analysts committed to the collective success of the team, the larger commercial organization, and the patients we serve
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- High quantitative reasoning/application skills and ability to critically think through complexity as it arises
- Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize requests and deliver upon stakeholder expectations
- Excellent written and oral communication with a dedicated customer orientation
- Advanced Excel skills (MS Access preferred)
- Proficiency with data reporting tools (Qlikview preferred), dashboard and report creation
- Ability to leverage presentation tools (Powerpoint, Prezi, etc) to artfully craft a cohesive and impactful narrative
