Job Summary

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment. Coordinate and oversee resident care activities, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health conditions, supervise nursing personnel during assigned shifts, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality resident outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor resident conditions and treatment effectiveness.
  • Manage medications, supplies, and equipment according to policies and procedures.
  • Document resident care using electronic medication administration and charting systems.
  • Communicate significant changes in resident conditions to healthcare providers and family members.
  • Monitor nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain professional communication with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.

Requirements

  • Current Nursing License (RN or LPN).
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical judgment and resident care skills.
  • Commitment to quality patient care.
