Job Description: Siemens Teamcenter Administrator (Department of Defense)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Siemens Teamcenter Administrator to support operations within the Department of Defense (DoD). This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Siemens Teamcenter, a critical PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool used extensively in defense projects. The position requires an understanding of Teamcenter and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:

Configure, customize, and administer Siemens Teamcenter to meet specific Department of Defense requirements and security standards, including integration with government AWS cloud instances.

Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity professionals to ensure infrastructure and applications, including Teamcenter, remain secure and compliant with DoD cybersecurity policies.

Perform maintenance, patching, and upgrades to the core Siemens Teamcenter application to ensure system reliability and performance.

Configure interfaces and integrations of third-party tools with Teamcenter to support digital engineering workflows.

Provide troubleshooting support using application logs and Windows logs, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

Extend the Teamcenter data model and configure workflows to meet client data management needs.

Support bulk migration of data into Teamcenter and conduct thorough testing of deployed solutions.

Coordinate issue resolution with Siemens GTAC (Global Technical Access Center) and other support entities as necessary.

Analyze system performance and optimize configurations for improved efficiency and user experience.

Provide Teamcenter expertise and guidance to team members, collaborating effectively with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, ISSE, SMEs, and network administrators.

Document processes, procedures, and configurations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Other duties as assigned to support project objectives and client requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in administering Siemens Teamcenter, including installation, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting within DoD environments.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Digital Engineering: Minimum 10 years of experience in digital engineering technology, with a strong understanding of PLM systems, particularly Siemens Teamcenter.

IT Skills: Strong general IT skills with experience in Windows and Linux OS platforms, digital engineering interoperability, and Multi-CAD environments.

Communication: Excellent spoken and written English skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving complex technical issues related to Teamcenter and associated integrations.

Certifications: Ability to acquire/maintain IAT II certifications such as Security+.

Agile and DevSecOps: Experience in Agile software development and familiarity with DevSecOps principles is desirable.

Documentation: Experience documenting processes, procedures, and configurations effectively.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Location: Ideally located near Albuquerque, NM, or Bedford, MA, for onsite support of classified activities and client site operations.
Desired Experience:

Experience with other digital engineering product suites (e.g., PTC, Dassault, Autodesk).

Knowledge of data management and extract/transform/load (ETL) processes within Teamcenter.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Previous experience with Air Force or other military branches.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
