Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced RF/Electronic Warfare Engineer to support the engineering, integration, and testing of Hardware Defined Radio (HDR) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems. This role provides subject matter expertise in tactical RF systems and cryptographic subsystems, with direct support to Tactical Data Link (TDL) initiatives.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
What You Will Do

Lead engineering efforts for Hardware Defined Radio (HDR) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems

Provide subject matter expertise on RF systems and cryptographic subsystems

Support Tactical Data Link (TDL) projects and related integration activities

Perform systems integration and complex system analysis, including requirements gathering and validation

Develop work plans, cost estimates, and resource plans for integration activities

Manage integration, testing, installation, performance checks, inspections, and training for TDL systems (domestic and remote locations)

Apply dynamic modeling and simulation techniques in RF and Electronic Warfare (EW) environments

Conduct hands-on testing of tactical RF systems in Hardware-in-the-Loop laboratory environments

Support software development and testing in compliance with MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, STANAG 5516, STANAG 5522, and Joint Range Extension (JREAP/JRE) capabilities

Draft technical documentation including engineering plans, test procedures, system designs, and evaluation reports
Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or related engineering/computer science discipline

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Electronic Warfare (EW)

Experience with dynamic modeling and simulation of tactical RF systems

Hands-on experience designing, integrating, and testing tactical systems in laboratory environments

Experience in systems integration, requirements analysis, and complex system evaluation

Experience integrating Joint Range Extension capabilities onto U.S. and foreign military platforms

Experience developing technical documentation for integration, testing, and evaluation efforts
Desired Skills
-
5+ years of experience managing research, design, development, testing, evaluation, and integration of communication systems

Experience in System Integration Facilities (SIF), Combined Test Beds (CTB), Waveform Test Facilities (WTF), or similar lab environments

Experience with AEGIS systems, Satellite Tactical Data Links, Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol (JREAP), Link-22 Data Link Processor (DLP), or comparable systems

Experience testing and certifying JTRS tactical RF systems in laboratory environments
