Project Planner

Job Summary:
Provide transportation planning support and management services, primarily focused on public sector transportation clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and analyze complex data sets to support outcomes, narratives, and recommendations.

  • Translate technical information into clear, concise, and visual documents and public-facing materials.

  • Interface with the public through workshops, presentations, technical meetings, and stakeholder engagements.

  • Apply knowledge of public sector requirements, federal guidance, and agency policies.

  • Collaborate effectively with teams, leading tasks or projects as needed and supporting others.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution; a masters degree in Transportation Engineering or a related field is advantageous.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present technical information, and build professional relationships.

  • Relevant certifications such as AICP, PE, PMP, GISP, or others.

  • Understanding or proficiency in traffic-related analysis.

  • Experience with big-data sources and platforms.
