Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with team members to deliver high-quality project outcomes for airport facility initiatives

  • Manages project reporting and controls activities, including:

    • Planning and scheduling

    • Cost estimating and analysis

    • Cost control and engineering

    • Change management

  • Reviews contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements

  • Oversees project controls procedures, cost tracking, performance activities, logistics, systems, and closeout processes

  • Directs cost estimating and control functions

  • Leads schedule development, updates, impact identification, and recovery planning

  • Supports project meetings with documentation, administrative tracking, and follow-up actions

  • May assist with coordination and monitoring of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, and architects

  • May assist with construction contract documentation, data input, document control, and preparation of status reports for management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in project/program controls and construction management on large public facility projects

  • Proficient in scheduling (CPM), project controls, claims analysis, and document control

  • Familiarity with construction management methods, procedures, and best practices

  • Strong written, verbal, and computer skills

  • Self-starter with a focus on results and accountability

  • Demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and thoroughness in job responsibilities

  • Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors

  • Experience with tools such as Primavera, Sure Track, or Microsoft Project (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Design/Build and other alternative delivery methods (preferred)

  • Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

  • May be assigned other duties as needed
