About the job Project Controls Manager (Aviation)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Collaborates with team members to deliver high-quality project outcomes for airport facility initiatives

Manages project reporting and controls activities, including:
-
Planning and scheduling
-
Cost estimating and analysis
-
Cost control and engineering
-
Change management
-
-
Reviews contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements
-
Oversees project controls procedures, cost tracking, performance activities, logistics, systems, and closeout processes
-
Directs cost estimating and control functions
-
Leads schedule development, updates, impact identification, and recovery planning
-
Supports project meetings with documentation, administrative tracking, and follow-up actions
-
May assist with coordination and monitoring of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, and architects
-
May assist with construction contract documentation, data input, document control, and preparation of status reports for management
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (preferred)
-
3+ years of experience in project/program controls and construction management on large public facility projects
-
Proficient in scheduling (CPM), project controls, claims analysis, and document control
-
Familiarity with construction management methods, procedures, and best practices
-
Strong written, verbal, and computer skills
-
Self-starter with a focus on results and accountability

Demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and thoroughness in job responsibilities

Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors
-
Experience with tools such as Primavera, Sure Track, or Microsoft Project (preferred)

Familiarity with Design/Build and other alternative delivery methods (preferred)
-
Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
