Job Summary:

The Kitchen Tech III is responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. This position requires advanced knowledge and experience in low and high-pressure steam, electrical controls, and natural gas systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various electrical and mechanical equipment and will be able to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and equipment necessary for repairs and replacements.
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and advancements in kitchen and laundry technology.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
  • Solid understanding of low and high-pressure steam, electrical controls, and natural gas systems.
  • Experience working with various electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work as scheduled, including weekends and holidays.
