Lead Software Engineer - Java, React

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
  • Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software using multiple design techniques
  • Front end languages - HTML,CSS, JavaScript
  • JavaScript technologies React, Angular etc.
  • Java 17 and above,J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Python programming languages etc.
  • Database technologies - Oracle, MySQL, AWS RDS, MongoDB
• Experience with APIs, Web services, Micro services architecture
• Experience in Public Cloud such as AWS, Azure etc.
• Experience in developing and using automation frameworks like Selenium
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in common framework like Scrum
• Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills & should be able to handle complex systems independently
• Should be able to mentor and guide other team members in the team
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
• Practical cloud native experience
