About the job Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Naxitamab Treatment
Role Overview:
- Participate in management for a caseload of patients consisting primarily of Neuroblastoma and Sarcoma children and adolescents.
- Perform nursing assessments, administer chemotherapy/biologic therapy (including but not limited to monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and cytokines), assist with radio-immunotherapy treatments.
- Coordinate patient care activities (including phlebotomy and handling central venous access).
- Serve as an integral member of the clinical research team providing direct nursing care to research study participants
- Development of new insights for study and explore innovation arising from clinical findings to practice.
Key Qualifications:
- BSN and NYS RN License/Registration Required
- A minimum of three years of PICU and/or Oncology related experience required;
- Critical Care and Clinical Trials experience highly preferred
- BCLS, PALS Required; National Certification highly preferred
