This position involves planning, laying out, installing, testing, and repairing electrical and electronic systems in an industrial environment. It requires proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, as well as configuring and calibrating a wide range of sensors. The role also demands the ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and other technical documents.

Main aspects of the role include:
Performs maintenance and calibration on production electronic equipment and controls, including computerized plant equipment, in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
Inspects and performs preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
Monitors line efficiency and works with Engineering staff and Production Supervisors on line improvements.
Evaluates new equipment to establish troubleshooting and repair procedures.
Analyzes causes and implements corrective action on repetitive or major electrical problems.
Monitors all facility, building, and wiring to ensure electrical code compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:

A high school diploma or equivalent.
A General Supervising Electrician License or the ability to obtain one.
Previous experience in a leadership position.
At least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting plant instrumentation systems, programming various systems and controllers, motor/system control applications, and repair of various electronic systems and printed circuit boards.
Knowledge and use of AutoCAD is a plus.
The ability and flexibility to work on a rotating schedule (nights/weekends) as required to support company needs and technical assistance.
