About the job Consumer Title Processor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review all assigned Title applications submitted to ensure completion of all required data
- Review all dealer documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to funding any new loans/letters of credit
- Handle and resolve all incoming inquiries and escalation issues courteously and professionally
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all partner credit union operational policies and guidelines, products and services
- Interact with governmental agencies, dealerships, credit union partners assisting them with error resolutions, lien perfections and general title questions
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of 2 years of focused on consumer loan title processing experience required
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail
- Prioritize workload based on department requirements and customer needs
- Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to multi-task in other areas of the unit
- Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and team-oriented
- Ability to function in changing environment
