Position
A leading independently owned document imaging dealer is currently seeking a Technical Service Manager for our office in Orange, CA.

Essential Job Duties

  • Oversee mechanical, network, and managed IT technicians

  • Coordinate field, shop, and dispatch activities within the branch

  • Maintain profitability aligned with industry benchmarks

  • Focus on high levels of customer retention, award-winning service, and budget management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the copier/printer repair industry

  • Prior experience managing 10+ service employees

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, motivate, and train technical staff

  • Ability to evaluate operational costs and establish work assignment benchmarks

  • Strong start-to-finish management skills

  • Ability to be fair and hold team members accountable for revenue and cost targets

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to set compensation structures aligned with industry standards

  • Ability to implement processes and procedures that enhance efficiency and profitability while maintaining high customer service standards

  • Capable of managing approximately 30 technical staff and holding them accountable for territory integrity, response times, daily call completion, and outstanding service metrics
