Job Duties
- Create, manage, and delete user accounts, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
- Regularly clean up and maintain the Active Directory database, removing outdated accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor systems to ensure security, availability, and performance.
- Assist in the documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain backups and redundancy strategies.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases.
- Monitor and manage backup software solutions, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning as intended.
- Periodically verify backup integrity by performing restore drills, ensuring that data can be recovered effectively in the event of a failure or data loss incident.
- Responsible for SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) management, ensuring secure file transfers.
- Oversee all data center virtualization processes and ensure optimal performance.
- Manage disaster recovery site operations to ensure business continuity in case of an emergency.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and issue resolution as needed.
- Subject to recall 24/7.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
- Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, and transport self from building to building
- Ability to kneel, crawl, climb, and twist for purposes of installing and maintaining equipment

Minimum Education, Experience, and Certification:
- Associate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related degree plus two years of experience in a related field is required. Four years experience may be substituted.
- Have (preferred) or ability to obtain Dell Systems certification, VMWare certification, or Microsoft certification within first year
- Valid Texas Drivers License
