PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of proposals, including RFP/RFQ analysis, pricing, contract negotiations, and administration of contracting activities and interaction with customers in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, customer requirements, and sound business judgment
  • Reviews and analyzes contract documents to determine contractual obligations
  • Analyzes estimates of labor, material, equipment, production, and other direct costs
  • Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and contract requirements
  • Provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that any problems are identified and resolved/mitigated in a timely manner
  • Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, deviations, negotiations and completion or termination
  • Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
  • Acts as contract liaison between the company and customers/vendors, including participation in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes, resolving payment issues, and contract close-out
  • Prepares special reports as required. Contracts include Cost Reimbursement, T&M, and Fixed Price including performance based variations
  • Internal activities include proposal support of new opportunities, logging new contracts, and working with customers and finance to resolve billing issues
  • May provide mentoring to lower level employees
