Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Estimation Coordinator to support the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive project proposals. This role involves coordinating bid documents, managing timelines, and assisting with the preparation and review of cost estimates. The Estimation Coordinator will work closely with project managers, estimators, vendors, and clients to ensure all aspects of the estimating process are completed effectively and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and compile pre-bid documents, including RFQs, RFPs, and tender packages.

Assist estimators in quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and data entry.

Maintain and update databases of subcontractors, vendors, and cost histories.

Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to solicit pricing and clarify project scope.

Track bid deadlines, submissions, and status of all proposals.

Organize and maintain electronic and physical bid files.

Support team members with scheduling bid review meetings and preparing bid summaries.

Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand project requirements.

Ensure compliance with client and company procedures throughout the estimation process.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelors degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred).

2+ years of experience in construction, electrical, or industrial project estimation support.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of estimating software is a plus (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore).

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications is preferred.
