Job Summary:

The Electrical Leadman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily work activities of electrical crews on construction or maintenance sites. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to electrical codes and company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on electrical projects.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to determine job specifications and layout.

Ensure all electrical installations comply with local and national electrical codes.

Allocate tasks and monitor daily work progress to maintain schedule and quality.

Perform inspections and troubleshoot system or installation issues as needed.

Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials needed on-site.

Provide training and guidance to less experienced crew members.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or trade school certification is a plus.

Minimum of 46 years of experience as a journeyman electrician or similar role.

Proven leadership skills with prior supervisory experience in electrical projects.

Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and other relevant regulations.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
