Position Summary:
This position reports to the Quality Manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor is responsible for the following tasks:
Supervising hourly departmental employees
Assigning work/priorities to direct reports
Assisting other supervisors in the department in managing resources
Managing time-cards, attendance reports of direct reports
Acting as a back-up for other supervisors in the department as required
Generating reports related to Safety, Quality, and Productivity
Managing data in ERP system
Conducting annual performance reviews of direct reports
Managing progressive discipline for employees in the quality department with safety, quality, and performance issues
Conducting internal audits, addressing internal rejections, customer complaints & corrective actions
Coordinating customer and other 3rd party visits for Quality-related activities, including audits and source inspections
Adhering to the highest standards of Safety and Quality, complying with company policies and procedures, and leading by example
Other duties as assigned

Security & Compliance:
This position requires the use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in these regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work, or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.

Qualifications:
Required:
The ability to read and write English.
Typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP, etc.).
Typically 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the Quality Control area is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience with SPC, Root Cause, and Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis tools such as Fishbone, 8D, 5-Whys, etc.
Basic knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, SAE standards
Knowledge of product inspection practices, inspection equipment, and inspection processes
Demonstrated team leadership and supervision ability, including employment of time-management tools, establishing and maintaining department performance metrics/KPIs
