Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic clinical research professional to support our HPB Surgery team. The Research Project Associate will be responsible for data collection, quality control, and data analysis for research projects, databases, and research protocols. This role includes managing data and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of clinical research within the disease management team or service-specific level. Additionally, the associate will participate in special projects and task forces as determined by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data collection, quality control, and analysis for research projects, databases, and research protocols.
  • Manage data/project activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in clinical research.
  • Contribute to special projects and task forces as directed by management.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Clinical Research or Project Management.
  • Familiarity with statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, Python, and R.

Core Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of regulations regarding human subject protection (including 21 CFR and 45 CFR 46 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle unforeseen issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm and dedication to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
