Job Description:

Overview

An OPSEC Technical Analyst is needed to identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information. This position will be on-site at Lackland AFB, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Research, collect, analyze, and report on information from publicly available sources (news articles, social media, academic papers, government documents, online/print/telephonic resources).

  • Identify potential new data sources and monitor ongoing and planned exercises/operations to provide relevant PAI (Publicly Available Information) analysis for situational awareness and indications/warning.

  • Conduct analytic exchanges with other PAI organizations and maintain awareness of latest trends in PAI data application and acquisition.

  • Contribute to the development of PAI policy, techniques, tradecraft, and training techniques.

  • Analyze complex information, identify patterns, and assess risks.

  • Produce Open Source Research Assessments (OSRAs).

  • Stay abreast of relevant USAF/DoD policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma with 69 years of experience (or commensurate experience).

  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI.

  • 6+ years of experience producing Open Source Research Assessments (OSRAs).

  • Knowledge of USAF/DoD OPSEC principles and practices.

  • Understanding of relevant USAF/DoD policies and regulations.

  • Experience conducting pattern of life analysis using CAI data.

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of the National Geospatial Agency Commercial Telemetry Data (CTD) training course or equivalent.
