Job Summary

This summer internship provides aspiring technical sales professionals with hands-on experience working on strategic, project-based initiatives that directly impact customer operations and business performance. Interns gain exposure to field operations, technical sales support, data analysis, and customer engagement while developing a strong understanding of chemical technologies and commercial sales processes.

What You Will Do

  • Work on strategic projects with direct impact on customer performance and district objectives

  • Utilize internal data management systems to analyze and optimize chemical programs

  • Perform system analysis, interpret data, and develop written recommendations to improve operational efficiency

  • Engage with customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation solutions

  • Provide technical support by identifying and resolving customer issues, escalating when necessary

  • Learn and apply knowledge of chemical technologies and innovations across the business

  • Participate in supervised travel within an assigned sales territory

  • Present internship project findings to leadership upon completion

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited educational program

  • Majors may include Chemical Engineering, Business, Data Science, Agricultural Management, or related fields

  • Junior or senior standing with at least one semester remaining prior to graduation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Authorization to work without immigration sponsorship

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds at chest height

  • Role is safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
