Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer – Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is responsible for developing, testing, integrating, and optimizing digital signal processing algorithms for embedded and real-time systems. The role includes algorithm implementation, simulation, system testing, debugging, documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams to support DSP-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement DSP algorithms using C/C++ for embedded and real-time systems.
  • Develop signal processing models and simulations using Python or MATLAB.
  • Generate test vectors and evaluate algorithm performance.
  • Perform system integration, laboratory testing, and debugging.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and software debugging tools.
  • Maintain technical documentation, test results, and API specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during design reviews and Agile development.
  • Modify and optimize DSP algorithms for improved system performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and Scrum meetings.
  • Support development and testing of real-time embedded software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong foundation in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with debugging tools and laboratory equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 0–5 years of experience developing or testing DSP algorithms or embedded software.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree with a focus on Signal Processing or Communication Theory is preferred.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
