Job Description:

The Workplace Services Specialist III provides support for the daily operations of the Workplace Services organization. This role requires delivering excellent customer service through a work order system as well as daily interaction with employees and stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining workspaces, supporting facilities operations, and ensuring workplace efficiency. This is a 100% on-site position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, enter, update, and close requests in the facilities work order system.

  • Inspect office space daily and submit work orders to landlords for issues.

  • Prepare workspaces for employees (cleaning, reconfiguring, hanging items, moving bins, etc.).

  • Inspect and restock common areas such as pantries, copy rooms, and conference areas.

  • Set up meeting spaces for events and reconfigure furniture as needed.

  • Assist with the management of flexible workspaces and visitor services.

  • Support transportation demand programs and initiatives.

  • Escort vendors as needed.

  • Assist with mailroom duties, including the delivery of large items and packages.

  • Create and maintain department metrics using PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Maintain spreadsheets and databases for workplace operations.

  • Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot issues and develop/maintain processes.

  • Provide backup support to colleagues and work effectively in a team environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel).

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in workplace services, facilities support, or related roles.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Security Clearance

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
