Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as an authority for testing and verification activities. You will facilitate completion of testing activities efficiently, on time, cost-effectively, and in compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies. You will also provide valuable feedback for the design process from a testing perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical test equipment and processes for factory production testing of high-power UPS, PDU, and STS products.

  • Develop, implement, and improve policies and procedures to enhance testing effectiveness across the function.

  • Test products and systems and validate materials to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

  • Act as an authority to ensure all applicable requirements are met, maintaining test reports and certificates that demonstrate compliance with required standards, regulations, and customer specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) with 2+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and detailed electrical schematics.

  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, LabView, or PLC programming preferred.

  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 72, building codes, and energy codes.

  • Strong understanding of three-phase power system analysis is a plus.

  • Proficiency in construction administration tasks (reviewing product submittals/shop drawings, responding to RFIs, conducting inspections, and preparing field reports).

  • Must have valid work authorization in the US.
