The Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, promoting merchandise, supporting sales goals, and maintaining an inviting shopping environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
- Maintain current knowledge of products, promotions, and new arrivals.
- Provide product recommendations, styling advice, and suggest complementary items.
- Promote current marketing campaigns, events, and store initiatives.
- Support sales goals and deliver an excellent shopping experience.
- Participate in store meetings and team activities.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily store operations.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service and sales experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to learn product knowledge and provide professional recommendations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
