Job Description:
Overview
An OPSEC Senior Technical Analyst is needed to identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information. This is an on-site position located at Lackland AFB, TX.
Responsibilities

Correlate threat data from various sources to identify hackers, their methods, and potential risks to networks.

Provide assessments and reports to enhance situational awareness and understanding of cyber threats and adversaries.

Develop cyber threat profiles based on geographic region, country, group, or individual actors.

Produce cyber threat assessments based on entity threat analysis.

Provide computer forensic and intrusion support, including evidence seizure, forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.

Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and security practices.

Identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information by analyzing threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts.

Develop and implement OPSEC plans, assess security measures, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and classification guidance.

Conduct regular reviews of facilities, assets, and activities to verify OPSEC effectiveness.

Educate USAF personnel on OPSEC principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications

High School diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience (or commensurate experience).

Clearance Required: TS/SCI.

9+ years of experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.

Strong knowledge of USAF/DoD OPSEC principles and practices.

Understanding of relevant USAF/DoD policies and regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Air Force OPSEC Course (AFOC).

Defense OPSEC Planners Course (DOPC).
-
Joint Information Planners Course (JIPC) Phase II or equivalent joint OPSEC qualification.
