Job Summary:
We are seeking a security-cleared Network Administrator with extensive experience in managing and securing enterprise-level networks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience, a strong background in routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and virtual desktop environments, and the ability to support mission-critical operations across multiple locations. This role requires both technical expertise and collaboration skills to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performing network environments.
Who You Are:

Security-Cleared Professional: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or Top Secret Clearance required.

Education: Bachelors Degree in a STEM-related field OR HS Diploma with 7+ years of network administration, network engineering, or systems administration experience.
Experience Requirements:

5+ years of directly relevant experience in network administration.

Proficiency with multiple operating systems, including Linux/Unix and MacOS.

Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Hands-on experience with networking and network administration.

Skilled in virtual desktop environments (Citrix, VMware).

Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations.
Desired Skills:

Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco switches.

Experience with converged infrastructure (e.g., FlexPod) and NetApp storage systems.

Proficiency with Cisco Intersight, vCenter, and virtualization automation/optimization.

Strong documentation skills for SOPs and technical procedures.

Ability to create and maintain network diagrams.

Experience in network design, implementation, and performance tuning.

Project management and strong time-management skills.

Expertise in hardening network devices and infrastructure for enhanced security.
Certifications (Desired):

DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II.

Network+ or CCNA certification.
What Youll Do:
-
Design and implement infrastructure solutions that enhance mission execution and support command decision-making.

Support integration of new technologies and equipment in lab environments, including SOP and policy development.

Assess network topology, device configurations, and security vulnerabilities; recommend security best practices.

Provide user support for VPNs, VDI (Citrix), MacOS, and iOS platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues, from basic to complex network problems.

Implement access controls, monitor performance, maintain backups, and ensure system security.

Diagnose and resolve enterprise storage issues across LAN/WAN, including replication strategies.

Configure routers, switches, and firewalls; update devices and perform IP audits.

Optimize network performance through troubleshooting, standards enforcement, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Secure network systems through policy enforcement, access controls, and continuous monitoring.
