Are you a Junior or recently graduated Veterinary Surgeon looking for a supportive environment where you can learn, gain confidence and develop your clinical skills, without out-of-hours work?

We are recruiting a Junior Small Animal Vet to join a well-established independent teaching practice in County Westmeath, offering excellent mentoring and exposure to a varied caseload.

Why this is a great junior opportunity

• Starting salary €45,000–€50,000 pro rata

• Minimum 20 hours per week

• 2 days per week + 1–2 Saturdays per month

• No out-of-hours

• Teaching practice with structured clinical support

• Exposure to medicine, diagnostics and surgery

• Modern equipment including ultrasound, DR radiography, ECG, capnography and in-house laboratory

• Central location with easy access to Dublin (45 minutes) and Galway

About you

• Junior or newly qualified Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

• Motivated to learn and progress clinically

• Comfortable working as part of a supportive team

• Certificates not required, development encouraged
