The Vet Office is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with 2 - 3 years of small-animal experience to join a modern, fully renovated clinic located in the Dunshaughlin area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated vet looking to grow within a supportive and well-established team.

This long-standing practice has served its community since 1980 and underwent a complete renovation in 2022, transforming it into a spacious, contemporary, and well-equipped veterinary centre.

The clinic features:

• Three large consultation rooms

• Separate cat and dog wards

• Dedicated diagnostic imaging suite with dental X-ray

• A modern, open reception area

• Strong commitment to fear-free handling and patient comfort

The team prides itself on maintaining exceptionally high clinical standards and is fully equipped to handle advanced surgical, diagnostic, and medical cases.

What Were Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

• A qualified and registered Veterinary Surgeon (VCI)

• Experienced in small-animal practice (23 years)

• Reliable, motivated, and committed to excellent patient care

• A strong communicator and team player

• Keen on continuous learningCPD and additional education are actively supported

Role Responsibilities

The Veterinary Surgeon will:

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care

• Offer excellent client communication and service

• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to maintain a positive, supportive, and forward-thinking environment
• Contribute to delivering healthcare aligned with the professional standards of the Veterinary Council of Ireland

Salary & Conditions

• Salary: 45,000 60,000 per year DOE

• Contract: Full-time permanent

• Location: Dunshaughlin area
