The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, semi-rural small animal practice in Leominster, Herefordshire, which is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join and lead a large, supportive clinical team.

This role also offers occasional flexibility to work at a nearby sister practice, allowing collaboration with additional teams, clients and patients when required.

The Practice

Located in the scenic market town of Leominster, this practice benefits from a semi-rural setting with a loyal client base and a strong team culture.

You will be working alongside:

  • A team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons

  • 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses

  • 8 reception and administrative staff

The practice places a strong emphasis on teamwork, continuity of care and a supportive working environment.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet ready to step into a leadership position or further develop existing leadership skills.

The role offers:

Working pattern:

  • 40 hours per week over 4 days

  • 1 in 6 Saturdays

  • No on-call duties

  • No bank holiday commitments

About You

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon

  • MRCVS registered or eligible for registration

  • Confident clinician with leadership experience or readiness to step into a lead role
