About the job:
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer (CMS Testing) to join our team and ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our CMS-based applications. You will play a crucial role in validating content workflows, integrations, and UI/UX across multiple platforms. Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams, you will help maintain high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for CMS-based web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing on CMS platforms like AEM, WordPress, Sitecore, or Drupal.
- Validate content management workflows, authoring and publishing processes, and third-party integrations.
- Ensure proper UI/UX validation and responsive testing across multiple devices and browsers.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to identify and resolve issues.
- Implement and execute test automation frameworks for CMS testing (if applicable).
- Conduct API testing for CMS-driven content delivery and integrations.
- Document and track defects, ensuring timely resolution using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with CMS trends, QA best practices, and automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency.
Requirement and Qualification:
- 4+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on CMS-based applications.
- Experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress, Sitecore, Optimizely, Drupal, or other CMS platforms.
- Proficiency in manual testing, with knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (preferred).
- Understanding of CMS workflows, content publishing, caching mechanisms, and SEO validation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cross-browser testing tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control tools like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exposure to headless CMS testing and GraphQL APIs.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
