About the job
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures on AWS and Azure platforms. The role focuses on CI/CD pipeline development, cloud security, and managing scalable, efficient cloud environments to support development and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment:
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure ARM templates. - CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Implement Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) for containerization and orchestration.
- Enable seamless deployments across staging, testing, and production environments. - Cloud Migration & Security:
- Lead cloud migration projects from on-premise to AWS/Azure, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Apply security best practices for IAM roles, data encryption, and network security.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans. - Monitoring & Incident Management:
- Set up monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.
- Manage incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Regularly perform cost analysis and recommend optimization strategies.
Requirement and Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including proficiency in core DevOps practices.
- Strong experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Experience with monitoring and security tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog).
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
