About the job

We are seeking a motivated Junior QA Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with senior QA team members to execute test plans, identify defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our QA processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about software testing and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Identify and document defects, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.
• Collaborate with senior QA team members to prioritize and triage defects.
• Participate in regression testing and performance testing activities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Learn and utilize various testing tools and methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth testing processes.
• Assist in the analysis of requirements and user stories to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in software testing.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Some experience with software testing concepts and methodologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
