Job Summary:
Responsible to lead the strategic direction and management of system technology, innovation and process excellence within the Singapore-Malaysia cluster. Pivotal in driving operational excellence and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative solution and processes across the cluster.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements and integration.
- Lead the digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Manage the System & Innovation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on system capabilities and provide guidance to the Land Operations team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support system innovation.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
- To lead, plan and execute the implementation of TMS project required for enhancement of systems capability to compete in an ever-increasing digitized landscape.
Accountable for the entire TMS implementation process, ranging from business requirements gathering and analysis, implementation and rollout project planning and monitoring, and system solutioning and configuration.
- To lead for system engagement with Regional TMS systems Business and IT teams.
- To review operational processes and recommend for operational improvement.
- Responsible for managing and executing the successful implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage and fulfil management's expectations & requirements to support business growth and objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Logistics operation, Logistics engineering or IT- related discipline.
- Proven experience in system innovation and management, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building collaborative relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest technologies and system innovations.
- Proficient in project management and change management practices.
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
