Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential suppliers to ensure they meet VAT Manufacturing's quality standards.
  • Participate in supplier selection processes, providing technical expertise and quality assessments.
  • Plan and execute regular audits of supplier facilities to verify compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Assess supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems.
  • Work with suppliers to develop and implement corrective action plans for any identified quality issues.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier audits, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports on supplier quality issues and improvement activities.

    Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with supplier audits, quality system assessments, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.).
