Job Summary:
Developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas,
particularly IT infrastructure, InfoSec, and cloud operations. This role may be
assigned leadership and mentorship responsibilities and possesses a strong
automation and scripting background. It is a 12-months contract position and convertible subject to terms and conditions. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ability to operate at varying levels including IT infrastructure strategy,
    technical design, and implementation.
  • Capable of collaborating with stakeholders and project leaders to understand requirements, deliverables, and set expectations.
  • Serves as the primary support for infrastructure (systems, storage, network, and security).
  • Automates the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of
    infrastructure/network related tasks and devices.
  • Provides technical expertise in system design, installation, configuration,
    tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Manages effective relationships and works in partnership with various IT and business teams, vendors, etc., for the implementation and support of infrastructure and networking products and services.
  • Plans and prepares for disaster recovery, storage solution design, and
    provides performance analysis relating to data replication.
  • Provides, creates, and updates documentation on new or existing systems including equipment lists/diagrams, and budgetary and system specifications.
  • Provides training, technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to IT staff and end-users when applicable.
  • Success measured by teamwork, dedication to excellence, integrity, and trust.

Job Requirements:

  • 8 years and above of experience in IT Infrastructure or Data Center
    Operations (including IT infrastructure design, HCI, SDN, InfoSec, cloud
    compute, disaster/recovery, etc.).
  • Over 8 years of VMware experience (including ESXi, VCF, vSAN, vSphere,
    HCX, SDDC, NSX & vRealize for Automation and Orchestration).
  • Over 5 years of cloud engineering experience (private/hybrid cloud).
  • Over 5 years of automation and scripting experience (utilizing
    PowerShell, PowerCLI, SQL, etc.), considered an added advantage.
  • Over 5 years of experience working with IaaS & PaaS and native cloud
    services, particularly Azure.
  • Experience in planning and executing projects that involve collaboration with cross-functional team members.
  • Experience in private cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this role requires heavy collaboration.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor or manufacturing vertical including
    experience with operational technology and industrial networks.
  • Over 5 years of maintaining Microsoft SQL server as DBA is an added
    advantage.
