About the job Digital Transformation Engineer
Job Responsibilities:

Manage small to medium IR4.0 system and equipment improvements, optimizations, expansions, and project upgrades.

Provide moderate technical assistance to cross-functional teams.

Manage control system assessments and provide design support and training.
-
Assist in new product qualifications and trial runs related to automation projects.

Update and develop:

User Requirement Specifications (URS)
-
Functional Specifications (FS)
-
Design Specifications (DS)
-
Operation and Maintenance Manuals
-
-
Supervise and lead Technicians/Interns on assigned tasks and projects.
-
Collaborate with product and process engineering teams to meet automation/IR4.0 goals.
-
Ensure all projects meet global machinery safety and regulatory compliance.
-
Achieve departmental project cost-saving targets and support plant-wide savings initiatives.
-
Ensure strict compliance with contractor management procedures.
-
Liaise between external vendors and cross-functional teams.
-
Promote a data-driven culture within the workplace.
Job Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma in IT, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.

HMIs

Robotic systems

Vision systems

Mechanical design

Knowledge of standards such as:

ISO 13849-1

UL safety standards
