Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities that align with company's strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support decision-making and identify potential growth areas.
  • Collaborate with the Director of New Ventures to develop business plans and financial models for prospective ventures.
  • Support the execution of new projects by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  • Build relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support for new initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of new ventures, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to communicate progress and outcomes related to new ventures.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to enhance the company's competitiveness in the marketplace.
  • Assist in developing strategies to mitigate risks associated with new business ventures.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, project management, or strategic planning, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in analyzing market opportunities and contributing to the development of new products or services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software and business analysis tools.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
