Job Summary
Responsible for production support and management in the back-end SMT workshop, ensuring efficient operations, quality assurance, and team performance.
Job Responsibilities
1. Production Management and Scheduling

Arrange and deploy production personnel in the SMT back-end workshop to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Guide daily production operations based on the production plan.

Coordinate workflow, resolve operational issues, and report to supervisors as necessary.
2. Quality Control and Production Oversight

Monitor the progress and quality of SMT back-end production to ensure compliance with standards.

Inspect product quality during production, address quality issues promptly, and implement corrective actions.
3. Employee Management and Training

Conduct skills training and clarify job responsibilities for team members to improve competency and performance.

Organize onboarding for new employees and periodic training sessions to enhance both technical and soft skills.
4. Equipment Management and Maintenance

Ensure smooth operation and daily maintenance of SMT back-end equipment (e.g., ICT, FCT).

Optimize equipment allocation and utilization to ensure safety and maximize efficiency.
5. Safety and 6S Management

Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance in the SMT back-end workshop.

Organize safety awareness activities and provide safety education to employees.

Implement and sustain 6S management to maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
6. Other Responsibilities

Carry out tasks assigned by supervisors and manage production emergencies as needed.

Conduct fair and consistent daily performance assessments for team members.

Lead and support skill enhancement initiatives for new employees.
Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in a related field.

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.

Familiarity with SMT process technology, including understanding of process flow and principles.

Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to lead improvement projects.

Proficient in MiniTab, QC Seven Tools, Six Sigma, and other quality tools.

Effective communicator, including interactions with customers.
-
Knowledgeable about evaluation standards for new equipment and materials.
-
Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (to liaise with counterparts in China).
