Senior Manager - Commercial (Light Household)

JOB TITLE: Senior Manager - Commercial (Light Household) | MAF Retail | UAE Head Office

ROLE SUMMARY

Role Purpose: Ensuring that product assortment structure (qualitatively and quantitatively), purchase sources (national and international), price structure and merchandise plan catering the customer needs and company commercial concept to guarantee a sustainable business growth in volume, customer base and profitability.

ROLE PROFILE

• Elaborate the products assortment structure (qualitatively and quantitatively) according to the customer needs and company commercial concept
• Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost
• Analyze and benchmark company performance with competitors and international market and recommend areas for improvement
• Maintain updated information related to new market opportunities and changes and stimulate the exchange of experience and knowledge between all concerned parties within the company
• Contribute to build the stores merchandise plan, and develop new merchandise concepts and Plano gram
• Guarantee the application of the merchandise plan and ensure its consistency with national strategy
• Optimize the working capital, guide the stores to the elaboration of margin parameters, and ensuring account receivables are collected on time
• Set appropriate control mechanism to ensure budget compliance and takes corrective measures when necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in business or management related field
• 10 years experience in Managing retail operations and merchandise (Light Household)
• English Language (Full professional proficiency - Required)
• Top notch negotiation skills and previous experience with contracts negotiation
• Previous experience with retail online operations and E-commerce
• High communication and leadership skills
