Were looking for a Creative Strategy Lead to join our MENA team. You'll work as part of a close-knit team, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where culture is just as important as impact.

Your role will be to partner and build long-lasting relationships with some of the biggest clients in the region, and to create, own and drive high-profile, newsworthy and best-in-class creative campaigns on Snapchat. To achieve this, you will excel in conversations with senior marketing and creative decision-makers - and ideally, will already have some good connections in this space. Through your work, and your thought-leadership, you will cement and further grow Snapchats positioning, proving the value of the platform as a necessary media partner and unmissable creative opportunity; a platform that has the right scale, the right products and the right audience to help deliver against all key marketing and communications objectives. We expect you to become a leading voice and thought-leader in the MENA market, specifically when it comes to Augmented Reality (AR) and mobile storytelling on Snapchat.

You will need a curious and creative mind, the ability to inspire and persuade, and a passion for thinking outside the box. You will have worked extensively in digital and mobile advertising and content - and have a clear and coherent opinion on the ways mobile technology can fundamentally impact the relationship between brand and consumer.

What you'll do:

  • Come up with the ideas and strategy, proactively and reactively, to help close and upsell - be ready and willing to roll your sleeves up.
  • You'll need to build decks and present during pitches. You will be directly accountable for supporting sales revenue targets within your market and verticals
  • In partnership with the Business Lead, develop a strong, persuasive narrative for the role Snapchat can play for clients across the book of business.
  • Together with Marketing Science analyze and interpreting a variety of information, evaluating campaign effectiveness and analyze sales data
  • Together with Business Leads, Marketing Science and Product Marketing identify the problems to tackle for advertisers or brand agnostic verticals and help define the best go to market strategy and packaging solutions.
  • Keep up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers views and attitudes
  • Drive the quality of Snapchat creative output across the market.
  • Find opportunities to further develop the creative ecosystem - scaling and automating ideation, concepting and production of AR from a network creative agency, independent creative agency, creative partner agency and individual Lens Creator perspective
  • Work closely with Marketing Science to ensure effectiveness is being measured and quantified
  • Work closely with PR and B2B marketing to deliver relevant thought-leadership pieces and case studies; you will also need to represent your region, market and vertical at large client/agency industry events, and write thought-leadership articles - In English and Arabic
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to give creative input on new advertising solutions
  • Collaborate with other Creative Strategy team members, locally and globally, to ensure best practices are being shared and cross-sell opportunities identified
  • Cultivate creative agency partnerships at the senior level to drive wide understanding and adoption of Snapchat creative solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English - written and spoken
  • Deep understanding of the cultural norms and nuances of Saudi Arabia - from both a brand and audience perspective
  • Proven experience in brand marketing/advertising or another related field - with Saudi-based Government entities and/or Telcos

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of brand marketing and how to build brilliant strategies to solve for business needs across a range clients
  • Account planner experience
  • Track record of leading the development of exceptional creative campaigns, individually or as part of a team
  • Exceptional ability to understand and solve for any advertiser challenge
  • Expertise at commanding a room and succinctly articulating thought-leading advertising solutions - especially in Arabic
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once and to inspire, motivate and persuade others
