A well-established Cyber Security company based in Abu Dhabi are looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist.

Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, the Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for:
- Preparation of Group Consolidation: Ensuring adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE legal requirements while consolidating financial statements for the Group.
- Periodic Financial Reporting: Generating timely and accurate periodic financial statements for the Group, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Analysis: Collaborating with various teams to review divisional financial results, conducting in-depth analysis, and ensuring revenue recognition aligns with IFRS guidelines.
- Subsidiary Coordination: Facilitating monthly financial review meetings with subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with established standards.
- Technical Accounting Support: Providing expert guidance and support to the Core Finance team and business units on complex accounting matters.
- Audit Coordination: Liaising with external auditors to facilitate the audit of consolidated and standalone financial statements, addressing technical accounting queries as needed.
- Performance Measurement: Assisting in the establishment of financial performance metrics (KPIs) and monitoring progress to evaluate the Group's financial performance.
- Management Reporting: Preparing management reports and presentations for executives, shareholders, and the Board, highlighting key financial insights and trends.
- Month-end and Year-end Closing: Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently, ensuring timely submission of financial statements to management.
- Collaboration and Support: Cultivating a collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork, and providing support on ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and IFRS compliance.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE financial, commercial, and tax laws.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to organizing employee events and fostering team cohesion.
