Senior Accountant / Accountant - AUS

• Job Profile
• Manage day-to-day accounting including AP/AR, bank and payment gateway reconciliations, payroll, and inventory accounting
• Maintain accurate and compliant financial records in Xero across multiple entities
• Prepare BAS/GST, IAS, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Produce structured management reports and cash-flow tracking
• Support annual accounts, tax return preparation, audits, and ATO reviews
• Work confidently with Xero, Cin7/Dear, CloudPayroll, PayPal, Stripe, and Excel
• Degree qualified in Accounting with 3–5 years experience (preferably in a Chartered Accounting firm)
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax, compliance, and experience with Australian businesses
• Highly methodical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently within structured processes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree qualified in Accounting or equivalent
• 3–5 years experience, ideally within a Chartered Accounting firm
• Strong experience with Australian tax, BAS, and compliance
• Proven ability to reconcile complex accounts accurately
• Experience working with Australian businesses
• Strong written English and clear, factual communication
