Project Manager cum Business Analyst

Veracity Digital creates software solutions for startups to mature organizations to being their ideas into life! We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and is passionate about project management to join our team. This position will be based in Sri Lanka.

The Role

• Collaborate extensively with customers and internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, engineering) to understand user needs, market trends, and business objectives.

• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed features, analyzing technical limitations, resource requirements, and potential impact on existing functionalities.

• Actively groom the product backlog, prioritizing user stories, epics, and initiatives based on user impact, business value, and feasibility.

• Possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and utilize them effectively to manage the product lifecycle.

• Create functional specifications, analyze backward compatibility of product changes, negotiate specifications with all stakeholders

• Hands-on experience with designing mockups and prototypes using standard tools

• Provide requirement clarifications for development teams for implementation

• Participate and contribute to decision making in Roadmap planning and Release planning

• Lead scrum sessions (sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective) and drive teams to achieve project and product objectives
  
  The Person

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 6 [1] years of experience in software development industry and 4+ years in a similar role.

• Experience with project management tools and user story management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards, Asana).

• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience in managing product development within an Agile framework.

• A keen understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate them into actionable product requirements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
