Vendor Management Specialist
The Vendor Management Specialist oversees the procurement and payment cycle, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments. This role involves validating payment applications, reconciling statements, and maintaining compliance with company policies. The Specialist will also assist with contract development and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and streamline processes.
The Role
- Manage the procurement-to-payment process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Validate and process vendor payment applications.
- Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Ensure payments comply with contract terms and company policies.
- Maintain records of contracts and vendor interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Assist in preparing simple contracts and procurement documents.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
The Person
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in contracts, procurement, or project management support.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
