Senior Tax Accountant (UK)

We are looking for highly motivated individual who has expertise and strong understanding in preparation of UK statutory accounts, financial reporting and tax preparation to Join our team as an Accounts Manager to Lead the Team.

This position will be based in Sri Lanka. Possibility to travel to UK for the right candidate for training and process transition.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Statutory accounts According to UK accounting and GAAP principles.
• Preparation of Financial reports and forecast to guide business decisions.
• Prepare Accounts and personal and company tax returns using CCH software.
• Collaborate with the Management to set financial objectives and strategies
• Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Review and analyze financial data of client organizations.

Requirements

• Fully qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA or degree holder in commerce
• At least 2 Year of UK accounting and Taxation experience is the basic requirement to apply for the position.
• Familiarity with preparation of Statutory accounts using UK GAAP and Accounting principles
• Proficiency in working with the CCH Accounts system is a must for this role.
• Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in the use of packages like Xero, MYOB and QB.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of Client management and Team Management skills.
