We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and is passion-ate for numbers to join our team for a client in Australia. This position will be based in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of work papers for BAS for client's approval and submission to ATO.
• Correctly accounting for GST transactions and reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile payroll transactions and processing of payroll.
• Undertake bank reconciliations and end of month accounting journals.
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L items with respective work papers.
• Collate and record source data information accurately in client accounting systems.
• Review and analyze financial data of client organizations.
• Preparation of personal and SME business tax returns. teams.

Requirements

• At least 1 Year of Australian accounting and Taxation experience is a must to apply for the position.
• Experience in accounting and finance, preferably in BPO organization.
• Part or fully qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA or undergraduate / degree holder in commerce/ business management and Finance from a reputed University.
• Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in the use of packages like Xero, MYOB and QB.
• Proficiency in the use of Oracle NetSuite will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to multitask and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
