Venture Dynamics is hiring a 1st Class Pipe Fitter to join our skilled trades team. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently, uphold high-quality standards, and support safe and efficient job site operations.
Job Summary
The 1st Class Pipe Fitter will be responsible for the layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. This role requires advanced technical knowledge and leadership in guiding apprentices and less experienced pipe fitters.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install pipe using hand and power tools
- Install piping systems for steam, water, gas, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systems
- Assemble and secure piping using welding, brazing, soldering, or mechanical fittings
- Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspections
- Diagnose system issues and complete repairs as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior pipe fitters
- Coordinate work with supervisors, engineers, and other trades
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work area
Qualifications & Experience
- Journeyman / 1st Class Pipe Fitter certification or equivalent
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial pipe fitting
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, valves, and fittings
- Welding experience preferred (as applicable)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions
